Digital Safety and Filtering:

All students will engage in grade appropriate Seminar lessons on digital citizenship and safety from Common Sense Media

Teachers will receive ongoing professional development around digital safety, data privacy and security.

Safety tips will be sent out in Community Connections, the Dakota Ridge family newsletter

Family Support:

Having family discussions about safety, usage, and expectations ahead of time with co-planned consequences may prevent many arguments in the future. When teenagers help develop the expectations and consequences, they are more likely to follow the rules.
