Traci Nemechek has been teaching at Dakota Ridge since the 2002-03 school year. She has taught social studies courses including: Civics, Modern U.S. History, American Indian Studies, Society in Sports (Sociology course), Legal Systems I, Legal Systems II, and Criminology.  Ms. Nemechek continues to grow her criminal justice program and in the Legal Systems I, Legal Systems II and Criminology courses became CTE recognized criminal justice courses. Her Legal Systems II and Criminology classes are also Concurrent Enrollment classes through Arapahoe Community College. Additionally, the Legal Systems II class will compete against other programs in a Criminal Justice Regional Competition in April. 

Before coming to Dakota Ridge, Ms. Nemechek taught at Monument Valley High School, AZ (on the Navajo Indian Reservation) and at Brush Ranch School, NM.
