I am a life-long learner and educator. As a product of Jefferson County Schools, K-12, I attended North Lakewood Elementary and Everitt Middle and graduated from Wheat Ridge High School. I began my career in education in Jeffco Schools at Juchem Elementary School, teaching fifth and sixth grades. From there, I was a stay-at-home mom until my children started school. I returned to teaching at St. Mary's Catholic School for 13 years where I taught seventh and eighth grade English and Religion. I came to Dakota Ridge High School in the fall of 2002 as a ninth-grade English and Literature teacher. After completing my administrative licensing program, I became an assistant principal here at Dakota Ridge. After 20 years at DRHS, I am now honored to serve as principal where I continue my love for education.
I am a Colorado native, married my college sweetheart, have two grown children who are married and have three incredible grandchildren.
