Bio

I began teaching at Colorado's Finest Alternative High School in 1992, and then I moved to Amarillo, TX, where I taught eighth grade honors English. Missing Colorado, I returned to teach at a private school for three years before coming to Dakota Ridge High School. I have taught at DRHS for 22 years now, all levels of English-from 9th grade through twelfth grade; I also founded our now-defunct speech and debate team. I have a high school-aged son, a wonderful husband, and an energetic Border Collie named Lucy When I'm not in school, my hobbies include travelling, camping, hiking, reading, and gardening.
