The goal of the Intervention Services Department is to provide students with identified special needs the skills and support necessary for successful completion of high school. A continuum of services is offered including consultation/support for students fully integrated into regular classes, resource room classes and support services on an as needed basis. Specifically, services address identified needs in the areas of communication, perceptual difficulties, as well as psychological/social emotional needs through individualized help and specialized academic instruction. The department also focuses on life after high school providing transitional and vocational preparation through instruction, assessment and interagency coordination.
