Bio

I'm Mexican-American. I was born in Querétaro, Mexico to an Ecuadorian father and an American mother so I was raised to be bi-lingual and attended an American school. Fifteen years later, I moved to Golden, Colorado where I completed my secondary studies. I went to University to become a Spanish teacher but, after testing out of most of the Spanish program, I decided to pick up a new language, French!  I started my teaching career at Drake Middle School and after teaching there for 8 years, I moved to France. I have a home in a lovely village in the Rhône Valley where I raised my children and taught for 16 years. I love it there but I love teaching at JeffCo too, so now I do both! This is my seventh year at Dakota Ridge High School and I am passionate about my work and I enjoy working with these great students and wonderful staff.
