Student Leadership

Dakota Ridge High School's (DRHS) student leadership is the voice of the student body, advocating for student interests, organizing events and fostering a sense of community within the school. Comprised of dedicated student leaders, student government plays a vital role in shaping the school's culture and promoting student engagement and involvement in various initiatives and activities.

Student leadership is a class that students are elected for or appointed to by executives or sponsors that represent the student body. In this class, students work collectively on producing important events such as Day Without Hate, homecoming, Mr. Dakota, Think Pink, ChaKotaBine and more.

Elections for freshmen begin in November. Elections for all other grades occur every spring. We hope you will consider joining our student government family!

Student Leadership Auxiliary

Student Leadership Auxiliary is an outside-of-school club that assists student government. Students receive a pass/fail grade and credit for being in this club. SL Auxiliary is perfect for students who, for scheduling reasons, are unable to commit to the student government class.
