Summer Device Support

Families who need instructional, repair, or troubleshooting support for their student’s district-provided device this summer should visit Jeffco’s TechforED webpage and click on the Summer Device Support button for more information.

Repairs:

Lenovo 300e devices belong to the district and will be repaired for the life of the device. Please bring your device to the library as soon as you notice there is an issue. Please only use a Lenovo Chromebook charger to charge the device - other chargers (even if they fit the charging port!) can damage the Chromebook's motherboard.

What happens if a device breaks or is not working correctly?

These Chromebooks are the student’s responsibility. The Chromebooks come with a Tech4Ed protective case and this case should stay on the device at all times. Please ensure that the device is stored in a safe location when not in use. We will follow the same policy as if you damaged or lost a textbook, or if an item is lost or stolen. If stolen, or damaged by someone else, immediately file a police and incident report in the main office.

What to do when your device is not working correctly:

  • Inform your teacher
  • Visit the library to get further assistance or email Ms. Goetz at [email protected]
  •  Bring your device in for repair and receive a swapped Tech4Ed device - you will not receive your original device back.
