I believe that education is a human right, and that in learning about the world, we gain appreciation and understanding of differences. By ensuring all children have access to an excellent education, we transform our world in meaningful and positive ways. For this reason, I'm proud to have dedicated my professional life to this dynamic and ever-evolving field. I was a classroom teacher at the high school level for nearly two decades, teaching English Language Arts, German, and IB Theory of Knowledge. I have also served as an IB Coordinator and Building Leader, helping with strategic planning and professional development activities. Dakota Ridge is an exceptional community of learners, and I am especially proud to be a part of this team and larger community.

Outside of school, you can generally find me spending time with my husband and kids chatting about books and film, or planning our next travel adventures.
