Bio
After receiving my degree in education, I realized a need for a change, so I moved to Normandy, France where I lived with a family and helped tutor students in English at the town's high school. When I moved back to the US, I left my home of Albuquerque, NM and ended up in Denver for a true, fresh start. I have been at Dakota since it opened and have enjoyed the changes and my own growth over those years, both professionally and personally. As a teacher, I focus my energy on writing, the skills writers use to create their writing, encouraging inquiry, and the philosophy of writing. My newest mantra is "We are only limited by the questions we ask."
