Parent/Guardian Presentation:
How to support your kids as they return to "normal" life after the pandemic and how you can help them live a healthier/more well-balanced life

Where: Dakota Ridge High School Auditorium

All parents/guardians are welcome to attend (this event is in person and will not be recorded/accessible virtually). 

Nicholas Thompson, LCSW adolescent therapist, will present on the topic of childhood mental health and share his holistic approach to working with kids and families from a physical, mental, social and emotional space, along with providing psycho education, related neuroscience and developmental connections.   • November 18, 2021 @ 6:00 p.m. - This information night will be hosted in-person in the DRHS library. Due to current COVID policy, per Jeffco Public Health, masks will be required for attendance at this events.

  • January 11, 2022 @ 6:00 p.m. - This information night will be presented virtually. Please find the IB Virtual Information Night presentation here. If you still have questions after viewing the presentation, please plan to join us virtually on January 11 at 6:00pm for a "Q&A with the IB Coordinator". To receive the Google meets link for the virtual Q&A session, please click here.

Securly:// App for Parents

The district is providing families with the ability to monitor and control their student’s internet and app activity on district devices at home using the free SecurlyHome app. While Jeffco Public Schools uses a Palo Alto firewall to monitor and filter activity and content for students when they are in school, Securly manages the filtering for school-issued devices when they are away from school.
