Bio
When I was in 6th grade, I was told that I would never be good at math, and I believed that statement all the way through High School. After graduating from Green Mountain High School, I attended Red Rocks Community College where I discovered my love for Mathematics. I was the Chief Instructor/Studio Manager of a Martial Arts studio for several years where I learned that I have a passion for teaching. After a few years of soul searching, I decide to put my love of mathematics and passion for teaching together and began this journey to help students discover their ability to be successful with math.
This is my third year teaching Algebra 1 and Honors Geometry at Dakota Ridge. I spent the previous five years in Douglas County with a great cross curricular team. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife, Elyssa, and our four awesome children. I also enjoy continuing my martial arts journey and spending time in Colorado’s beautiful mountains.
