Bio
I have been teaching science at DRHS since 2005. I love being physically active (hiking specifically), gardening, geography, animals, growing things, all kinds of fish aquariums, Colorado weather, and thinking critically/deeply. I am a type “A” personality, and typically find that I am more scheduled and “task oriented” than most people, adults and students alike. This gives a unique flavor to my classroom, although I try to balance it with an understanding of how individuals uniquely learn. Most of the year, you can find me teaching a night Physics class at Red Rocks Community College as well.
